Local Bike Shops
In no particular order of preference:
Red Planet Bikes (Wood Street, Swindon 01793 522211) - High-end mountain bikes and parts. Run by enthusiasts who ride every Tuesday evening from the shop in Old Town.
Total Bike (Commercial Rd, Swindon 01793 644185) - Good selection of mountain and road bikes.
Halfords (Flemming Way, Swindon 01793 714760) - Useful for emergency puncture repair kits as they're open 'till 8pm!
Leisure Lakes (Cheltenham, 01242 251 505)
Noahs Ark (Chalford nr Stroud, 01453 884738) - Large slection of medium to high-end bikes and parts. Good trails nearby for test-rides.
Cotswold Outdoor (South Cerney nr Cirencester, 01285 863930) - No bikes but good for clothing and accessories such as hydration systems, bags, GPS, camping gear etc.
